Lecture on facts and myths in psychology
Do we really only use 10 percent of our brain? Does our handwriting reflect our personality? These and other exciting questions were explored during an event on Facts and Myths in Psychology. The event was primarily aimed at older students and was organized by the association “Studium im Alter” (Studying in Old Age) on October 28 in the lecture hall of the University Library Wuppertal.
Professor Meinald Thielsch gave a lecture to around 50 interested participants on the emergence of myths and the challenges involved in transferring scientific knowledge into practice.
