The Chair of Work and Environmental Psychology...
...is characterized by its focus on researching highly topical issues, for example work in risk areas, digitalization or the consequences of crises and climate change. It is based on the conviction that we cannot meet the current challenges and changes in work and society only reactively through specialist personnel. Dealing with stress and crisis situations in particular should be approached proactively by all of us - individually and at the level of teams, managers and organizations - to strengthen our own resilience and ability to act. The professorship focuses on both sides, reactive and proactive action. In teaching, the Chair of Work and Environmental Psychology is active in the fields of work and organizational psychology, environmental psychology and human-technology interaction.
